Finally decided to post some animation, starting with this short film I started at the beginning of the winter break. I think this is the second pencil test I've done using an actual character. This project is a lot more subtle and emotional then anything else I've tried, so its a lot more challenging to convey actual feelings and character this way instead of mechanically bouncing balls around.
This is just a rough pencil test with key poses to find the timing and pacing, its going to take a lot more in order for it to really feel alive. The story is not as clear as it should be since I left out some key details, and tried to focus on his performance.
